Project Overview: Grooving For Good was an impactful event dedicated to mental health awareness, held at the University of Washington, Seattle. The day was filled with a series of mental health awareness panels, vibrant student showcases, and energetic performances by Live DJs, creating a platform for education, expression, and engagement.
My Role and Contributions:
- Live-Stream Production Leadership: As the lead for live-stream production, I collaborated with a student A/V team to ensure seamless streaming of the event. My role involved overseeing the technical aspects of live streaming, managing equipment, and coordinating with the team to deliver a high-quality broadcast experience.
- Website Design and Development: I played a crucial role in designing and developing the Grooving For Good website. This involved conceptualizing the website's layout, ensuring it was both visually appealing and user-friendly, and integrating features that highlighted the event's schedule, objectives, and key highlights.
- Technical Expertise and Problem-Solving: Utilized my technical skills to troubleshoot any issues during the live stream, ensuring minimal interruptions and maintaining a high level of audience engagement throughout the event.
Impact: The Grooving For Good project successfully raised awareness about mental health, provided a platform for student talent, and showcased the power of music and community in supporting mental well-being. My contribution to the live-stream production and website development played a pivotal role in amplifying the event's reach and impact.
